Casa Sandra is a boutique hotel on the north beach of Isla Holbox, part of the Yum Balam ecological reserve. Holbox is an island 40 kilometers (25 mi) long and 2 kilometers (1.24 mi) wide, 160 kilometers (100 mi) north of Cancun.
This two story thatched-roof hotel has 20 guest rooms filled with handmade furnishings and decorations. Each guest room at Casa Sandra has all the essential for a pleasant stay.
While at Casa Sandra hotel in Holbox enjoy a meal in the restaurant or a refreshing drink in one of the two bars. Cool off in the pool or lay out on the beach in the shade of a palapa. For relaxation out of the sun there is a library with books and board games. You can easily explore the island on foot or rent a golf cart at the hotel.
Note: THERE ARE NO BANKS OR ATMs ON HOLBOX, but you will need pesos for purchases made on the island. Most small businesses do not accept credit cards. So stop at the currency exchange in the airport before setting out for Holbox!
